Brief Description
An employment opportunity is available for a Clinical Facilitator, reporting to the Nursing Services Manager. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring the competence of staff (clinical and non-clinical through training and development interventions.

Critical Outputs
• Responsible for co-coordinating and delivering clinical nurse training to ensure competency in nursing in line with the nursing objectives.
• Ensure the correct application of nursing procedures and policies.
• Identify training needs to guide the development of appropriate clinical training interventions.
• Conduct a Skills Needs Analysis (Skills Audit) to identify the skills gaps within the organization.
• Develop and complete the WSP and ATR based on hospital training needs.
• Custodian for ensuring competence within the context of the legislative environment and KPH strategy.
• To facilitate and partake in the MACRO orientation of all the hospital employees.
• Act as a liaison and contact person between the organization and other training organizations, including HWSETA.
• Compile daily, weekly, and monthly training report for the organization.

Requirements
• Diploma in Nursing/B Cur Degree, Registration as a Moderator and Accessor
• A valid SANC receipt, Diploma in Critical Nursing Science would be an advantage.
• 5 -10 years’ work experience as a Registered Nurse, 3 years’ experience as a Clinical Facilitator would be an added advantage.
• Private Hospital experience would be an added advantage.
